The designing expert indicated his firing stemmed from comments he made during an episode of Flipping Out about a certain Living Spaces employee named Channa.

He said she was trying to 'sabotage' him by failing to bring the accessories he needed for a Living Spaces catalog photoshoot.

'Yep, I got kicked to the curb,' Lewis told host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Vicki Gunvalson.

Lewis added that he had worked for Living Spaces for 'almost two years. I was their creative director.

Lewis, who raised what looked like a cocktail in a martini glass, continued: 'I don't want pity. I'm here to whoop it up!'

During the photoshoot, Lewis was noticeably annoyed when he was trying to set up a table on a beautiful outdoor patio and a lot of the props were missing such as a glass water pitcher, glasses, plateware and candles among other items.

'We have this whole prop department. Channa's in charge of dishware... things that you kind of need on a catalog shoot,' Jeff said on camera.

His disbelief at Channa's negligence was obvious.

'So everything I f***ing bought for these shoots didn't make it,' he was seen complaining to an assistant.

His assistant agreed, saying: 'I do feel that Channa doesn't bring things on purpose. It's just weird that it's always something from her department that needs to show up and it's not there.

'What else do you need?' Channa didn't seem very concerned about the problem at hand

Temper, temper: Lewis kept his temper in check but one could tell he was getting very irritated

'It's like, alright, if you're not trying to sabotage us, what's going on because you know we need those things at the shoot.'

When Lewis asked Channa if there were any candles, she answered: 'I didn't bring candles either.'

'What else do you need?' she asked with no expression.

Lewis' voice belied his irritation. 'I need every bit of silverware, dishware, flatware, glassware... candles. Everything you use for a shoot, I need for a shoot too. So if you're not going to bring something, you need to let us know.

'Channa doesn't care about my shoot': Lewis later told the camera: 'She is doing this deliberately to sabotage me or she's just completely forgetful and inefficient so either way I don't want her there'

'If you're worried about boxes of stuff, check with us beforehand and we'll let you know if we don't need something.'

After he was fired, the Bravo star took to Twitter to lament about the recent developments.

'I lost my dream job @LivingSpaces because I said on TV that someone didn't do theirs. #channagate #fallguy #terminated #humiliated,' he wrote on August 1.

He followed that up by writing: 'With hard work comes great reward.” I guess not @LivingSpaces #canned #channagate #justiceforjeff @AmericanAir.'

Lewis posted a humourous picture of him and assistant at a restaurant mulling over the check.

'Can we split this?' he wrote.
