Michael Vartan's Wife Lauren Skaar Files for Divorce: Report

Michael Vartan's wife of 3 years, Lauren Skaar, has filed for divorce from the Alias alum, TMZ reports.

According to the outlet, Skaar, 33, has filed the papers herself, without the help of a lawyer, citing irreconcilable differences.

Vartan, 45, who dated Ben Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner in 2004, met real estate agent Skaar in a Whole Foods parking lot in Los Angeles. The couple married in 2011 at Pelican Hill resort in Newport Beach, California.

Talking at the time, Vartan gushed that Skaar was his best friend. "I have more fun with her than with anyone I've ever met. I just woke up one day and could not imagine living without her," he said.

"The great thing about her and me," he added, "is that I feel like I can be 100 percent myself."

The couple have no children. Skaar is seeking spousal support from her husband.
