Logie Awards: Viewers slam Channel Seven's 'rough' pre-show riddled with awkward jump cuts and too m
The 2023 TV Week Logie Awards didn't kick off as smoothly as expected for Channel Seven on Sunday night.
The network faced a barrage of criticism just minutes into the pre-show, with viewers slamming the 'rough' editing, even going so far as to call it a 'sh*t-show', with some suggesting the editors might have started celebrating a little too early.
'The Logies Red carpet... proudly sponsored by jump cuts,' joked one disgruntled viewer on Twitter.
'Whoever is editing this pre-show must be celebrating already... #cutfest,' wrote another.
'What's with the editing?' wrote another viewer.

'Jump cuts galore on the preshow,' added another bewildered viewer.
'What a sh*t show the tv broadcast has turned into, random cuts left, right and centre and now more ads,' wrote one more.
The pre-show coverage featured hosts Sonia Kruger and Chris Brown interviewing a bevy of celebs as they arrived on the red carpet.
Despite the wealth of celebrity interviews, viewers were left frustrated with the inconsistent flow of the broadcast.
The critique is a blow for Seven, who had hoped to make a successful return to hosting the prestigious awards night.

Sunday's Logie Awards pre-show was the first TV gig for Dr. Chris Brown at Seven, setting the stage for a thrilling debut after announcing his departure from Channel Ten earlier this year.
Sonia, who is also nominated for the Gold Logie, said in a press release: 'I'd like to thank the Seven Network for this early Christmas present. I couldn't be more excited to be working with Chris.'
'With my brains and Chris' beauty, this red-carpet show is going to be fresh, fun, unpredictable and bigger than ever.
Seven newcomer Chris mirrored her enthusiasm, saying, 'Sonia is the Logies.'
'Naturally funny, fearless, flawless and a party animal... I genuinely can't wait to work with her on the red carpet show,' he added
